For the living area, this chest turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. It has settled into the room in a very natural way. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.

In the guest room, the scale of the room feels better to my eye now that this piece is part of the arrangement.

Getting our guest room ready for visiting family pushed me to finally choose this piece, and I am glad it did. It helped the room feel lived in rather than newly assembled. I would make the same decision for our guest room again.

In our bedroom, the piece has been easy to work into this room because the overall design does not feel fussy. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially on a quiet weekday. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our bedroom.
