It took me a few days to get used to this piece in my guest bedroom, and now I am very happy with the change.

The best part is that the dresser looks intentional in the guest bedroom without asking for all the attention. The overall effect in the guest bedroom is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. The room looks intentional without feeling arranged for a photo. The dresser is a choice I am happy to keep living with.

I chose this dresser during a post-move furniture reset, and it helped our guest bedroom feel less temporary. New spaces can feel temporary for a while, and this helped ours move past that stage. It has become part of the bedroom without making the room feel overly styled. I actually like it more in everyday life than I expected from looking at it on its own. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
