This pendant light has been a good addition and it simply took me a little time to get used to the new setup. I like it most when the room is full and nobody is thinking about the lighting. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there but that hesitation passed quickly.

On a night with takeout this pendant light gives the room a stronger sense of occasion without making it precious. I specifically wanted the LED version so that detail mattered to me. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day.
