Easy a rainy-day lunch, i thought I would notice the new light first, but what I really notice is how finished the part of the kitchen we use every day feels. The space still feels relaxed on ordinary days, without making the room feel overly designed.

This pendant light became part of the room around our anniversary, and it made the room feel ready when everyone arrived. I notice it most after everyone settles in and the room stops feeling like a project, without needing any special setup. We finished this part of the room around finally getting the last boxes unpacked, and the space finally stopped feeling temporary.

Ordinary a relaxed evening, what looked like a design decision on paper now feels like a normal part of the part of the kitchen we use every day. The room feels more complete while still feeling like our home. It took a little trial and error to decide how the rest of the room should sit around it, but I would still choose it again. The space makes more sense as a whole now, which mattered more to me than making a dramatic statement. I like it more now than I did when I first ordered it.
