Monday a weekend meal, the best sign that this pendant light works is how little we think about it now in the main room. I notice the difference most when the room is actually being used, and it still feels easy to live with. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious, which is exactly what I hoped would happen. A few weeks of normal use made me appreciate the room more than I did on day one, and I like that it works without asking for attention. The room now feels considered without feeling staged, which makes the update feel more convincing.

Post-dinner an easy Sunday meal, we wanted the kitchen area to work on ordinary days as well as when people come over, and this pendant light fits that goal. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious, without making the room feel overly designed. Once the room was back in normal use, my wife liked the room more once the update was done.

Saturday a quick breakfast, we saved a place for this pendant light while finishing the part of the kitchen we use every day, and the room finally feels settled. The change feels more convincing now that it has been through ordinary family life.
