I notice it most after dinner when everyone keeps talking instead of leaving the room. It helped finish the space without changing its everyday character. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.

Around Sunday dinnertime, the room usually feels fully lived in; midway through a family dinner, our central part of the room finally feels finished with this chandelier in place. It has been part of family dinners, quiet evenings, and the usual mess of normal life. It settled into the room more easily than I expected.
