To design the Perles chandeliers, Pierre-Yves Rochon was inspired by eponymous luminaires created by René Lalique in the 1930s and by the graphic and symbolic power of the candle. In all cultures and religions, the candle is meaningful, synonymous with knowledge and the quest for truth.

Carved with stripes and cabochons with the satin finish emblematic of Lalique, the crowns of light are adorned with slender crystal candles, arranged in a rhythmic rigor. Metal sublimates the purity and brilliance of crystal.

Highlighted by LED technology, these chandeliers with neoclassical accents resonate with a Grand Siècle flair and bring a touch of French elegance to interior design.

We ordered this chandelier to make the room feel ready for both family and guests and it has been easy to live with.

I finally chose this chandelier to make the space feel more intentional after dark and the room feels less unfinished. The tiered format was one of the reasons this version stood out to me. The best test has been ordinary evening life and it has fit in naturally.

The part of the space we had been trying to finish has a clearer purpose with this chandelier in place. It took a little trial and error with the placement but I would still choose it again.
