On a quiet morning, the dining room centerpiece is one of those details that makes the dining room feel complete.

For me, the table works because it feels just as natural during visits from friends as it does when the room is tidy. The room feels more balanced from almost every angle now. It brought the whole dining space together. Overall, it has been an easy piece to enjoy.

As part of the room refresh, this dining room centerpiece ended up being the piece that made the open dining area finally click. The room still feels relaxed, which was important to me. It gave the room the anchor it was missing. I also like how the oak detail reads in the room without feeling too showy. I would make the same choice again.
