For the primary bedroom, this piece turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. What surprised me is how much better the whole room reads with one thoughtful addition. This ended up being exactly the kind of update the primary bedroom needed.

From the first glance across my bedroom, I usually need time to warm up to new furniture, but this piece made sense in this room right away. Seeing this piece with the rest of my bedroom makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. The overall effect in my bedroom is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. I was aiming for a calmer overall arrangement, and it fits the house better than I expected. This ended up being exactly the kind of update my bedroom needed.

We finished decorating our bedroom just before a housewarming, and this dresser ended up being the detail everyone noticed. Finishing the room after so many other decisions felt like a relief. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
