We wanted the dining area to work on ordinary days as well as when people come over, and this pendant light fits that goal.

Tuesday a calm night at home, nothing about the change feels precious, and that is exactly why this pendant light works in the main room. The space feels more settled now without losing its casual feel, and the room still feels comfortable when it is a little messy. The room feels more complete while still feeling like our home, without making the room feel overly designed. I would make the same choice again for this room.

Morning the after-work hour, the change is not dramatic; the gathering space simply feels calmer with this pendant light there. The room feels good both when it is quiet and when it is full of people, which is probably the best compliment I can give it. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly.

Saturday slow dessert is when this pendant light feels most natural in the entry area. I like it most when the room is full and nobody is thinking about the lighting, which is probably the best compliment I can give it.
