This lighting piece ended up being the detail that made our area we were updating feel finished. I did not plan on anyone having a strong opinion, but our youngest started using the area differently without really thinking about it.

This lighting piece works well for us, but I did rethink the main space once before everything felt balanced. It works with the rest of the space instead of competing with it. The room feels more complete while still feeling like our home, and the room still feels comfortable when it is a little messy.
