Our entry made the most sense once friends came by after dinner; the update made more sense once the house was actually busy.

The part I notice most about this wall sconce is how much more complete the wall feels now. The room makes more sense as a whole now. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. The longer we live with it, the more certain I am about the choice.

That period around our anniversary made the room feel especially important, and this wall sconce made the room feel ready when everyone arrived. It became part of the room without anyone in the house having to think about it.

Wednesday busy evening reset is when I notice how settled the hallway feels with this wall sconce. It feels just as natural during a rushed morning as it does when the house is quiet at night. The whole area feels easier on the eye now without looking overly styled. The room feels better for having it there.
