In the dining room, this dining room centerpiece was the change that finally made the whole space feel connected. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it. It has made everyday meals feel a little more special. The round shape works nicely with the way the room is laid out. No regrets on this one.

The open dining area feels more coherent now, and this table is a big reason why. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it. It made the dining area feel like a real gathering place. It has already been part of a few ordinary days and a couple of times when friends came over. I was trying to make the room feel edited rather than full, and this helped achieve that. It has earned its place in the room.

Picked to work in everyday life, the dining room centerpiece has made the eat-in kitchen feel more settled over weeknight dinners. I rearranged the surrounding furniture once before I was completely happy with the setup.
