Thursday the evening wind-down, i kept coming back to this multi-light pendant for the entry area, and it ended up being the change that pulled the space together. It works with the rest of the space instead of competing with it, which makes the update feel more convincing.

Everyday the after-work hour is a better test than a styled photo, and this multi-light pendant still feels right in the space everyone notices first. The room feels finished without becoming formal, and it still feels easy to live with. On weekends I notice it most when everyone stays in the room a little longer, which is probably the best compliment I can give it.

Ordinary the first coffee, what looked like a design decision on paper now feels like a normal part of the central part of the room.

When a friend stays longer than planned, we wanted the room to work on ordinary days as well as when people come over, and this multi-light pendant fits that goal.
