Post-dinner a rainy-day lunch is a better test than a styled photo, and this pendant light still feels right in the room. The longer it is here, the less it feels like a new purchase, and the room still feels comfortable when it is a little messy. Nothing about the room feels overly arranged now. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room, which is probably the best compliment I can give it.

Ordinary mornings and evenings have made this pendant light feel more natural in the part of the kitchen we use every day than the first impression did.

I knew the room update was working when everyone in the house liked the room more once the update was done. I like it most when the room is full and nobody is thinking about the lighting, which is exactly how I want everyday furniture and lighting to behave. I did not plan on anyone having a strong opinion, but my dad noticed the room before noticing the fixture itself.
