We ended up choosing this wall sconce to make the room feel calmer in the evening and it has worked into the routine naturally. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. The longer it is here the more natural it feels.

My son was the one who suggested changing the lighting in this part of the room and we all seem to use the room a little differently now. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. It works naturally with the rest of the space. The room needed a small rearrangement around it but that was more about our layout than the light.
