Around dinnertime, this part of the house naturally gets more active; on a quiet weeknight, I notice that this chandelier finally feels finished. It helped finish the space without changing its everyday character. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day.

After Wednesday dinner, the room usually feels fully lived in; I chose this chandelier to bring the room together without changing everything else, and the room feels calmer now. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it. It works just as naturally on a normal Tuesday as it does when we have people over. The longer we live with it, the more certain I am that it was the right direction.

Slow Sunday evenings usually make the room feel more lived in; our space where everyone ends up started feeling different once this chandelier was in place; everyone in the house ended up liking the update more than I expected.
