Wednesday rainy weekend reset is when I notice how settled the reading corner feels with this wall sconce. It feels just as natural during a rushed morning as it does when the house is quiet at night. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day.

The biggest difference for me about this wall sconce is how naturally it fits the way we move through the house. The best test has been ordinary life, and it fits that much better than something overly formal would. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it. It feels like a change that made everyday life in the room better.

The reading corner looks more complete with this wall sconce in place. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home. The room still feels comfortable on normal nights and polished enough when people come over. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly.
