For the house we actually live in, nothing about the dresser feels forced in the room; it simply makes the arrangement look more intentional. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.

Within my bedroom, I had been overthinking this part of this room; this piece solved the visual problem more simply than I expected. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in my bedroom.
