I was looking for one piece to settle the main sitting area, and this media cabinet ended up doing exactly that. The overall look is polished without crossing into formal. It grounds the TV area without making the room feel formal. Very happy with how it has worked out.

Once the novelty passed, I still liked how the media console made the TV room feel during everyday life. The room still feels relaxed, which was important to me.

On an ordinary evening, the TV area piece makes the family room feel a little more settled and complete. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it.

Using the room normally, I like that the TV area piece looks good without needing everything around it to be perfect. It made the TV wall feel more intentional. I also like how the oak detail reads in the room without feeling too showy. It has been a solid addition to the room.
