I chose this wall sconce to give the space a little more structure, and it settled into the room quickly. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. I am glad we chose something that fits the way we actually live.

The bedroom makes more sense as a whole with this wall sconce in place. The best test has been ordinary life, and it fits that much better than something overly formal would. The room makes more sense as a whole now. I would make the same choice again for this room.

One of the best signs that this wall sconce fits our upstairs landing is that my husband kept commenting on how different the space felt after dark. It became part of the room without anyone in the house having to think about it.
