After a few ordinary days, the media console stopped feeling new and simply started feeling right in the family room.

This TV area piece changed the balance of the TV room without making the rest of the furniture feel secondary.

Near the end of the day, the living room feels more settled with this TV area piece as part of the setup. It has been especially nice during having friends over for a movie. It helped the room feel organized instead of visually busy. It is noticeable enough to add character, but not so noticeable that everything else has to match it. The piece has a nice presence in person, but it does not make the rest of the room feel secondary. I am pleased with the decision.
